Can I use the EPC23103 as low side drive only?

I am trying to make a simple sink drive for a LED load ( 24V 16A) using an EPC23103.

So I want to disable the high side of the EPC23103 and use only the low side.

As shown in the attached schematic,
Will it work without applying 24V to the VIN of the EPC23103?

All functions of this IC are optimized for half-bridge converter operation. Therefore, please note that I have sent you a separate email to suggest a better solution for driving LEDs.
