Dear EPCer,

It’s looks good LLC design for PD3.1 charger.
Why EPC prefer using the HB LLC to design the PD3.1 EPR 48V, because the many PWM IC vendor suggestion the Hybrid FLK(AHB).
In this ref design, it’s no resonant gain Gm range issues happen, or how to optimum this resonant gain Gm range issues in EPC design experience.

In this design we are using an LCC resonant topology. The LCC offers:

  • Wide output voltage and current range
  • high power efficiency
  • moderate switching frequency variation
  • excellent short circuit handling
