Start with EPC91118

Hello,
Has anyone here worked with the EPC91118? Are there any experiences with programming and using the RS485 interface? How can the motor parameters be configured? The Quick Start Guide doesn’t really provide any useful information, and apart from the QSG and the schematic, there’s currently nothing else available on EPC’s website.

The EPC91118 board is equipped with a chip to use the RS485 since it is the standard in humanoid robot joints, but at EPC we have not tested this feature. EPC recommends programming the board using the UART serial communication interface through the ST link. To use the RS-485 interface, EPC recommends consulting with ST. The design is based on the EPC9147C adapter board which accepts the G431 controller card from ST. Resources for that card can be found on ST’s website following the information provided in the EPC9147C QSG.
